REIKI

When I read about Reiki, I knew I wanted to use it on animals as well.

Without humanising animals, I do believe they can be reached by communication and Reiki adds that dimension. With Reiki, it is possible to understand them on a deeper level.

I now find myself using a combination of these therapies. I might be questioning a client about the problems with his dog and using TTouch on the animal as we speak. Or I might ask permission from the client to perform Reiki on their animal.

A dog in a rescue centre that I visit on a weekly basis gets a combination of all three. I start with a bit of T-Touch, give her oils and end with Reiki. This particular dog was very badly traumatised when I first began working with her. Slowly but surely, she is being re-habilitated.

It's also possible to maintain good health with T-Touch and Reiki. I use both on my own boxer puppy, Nutmeg. She crawls onto the seat beside me to have an almost daily ration of a combination of T-Touch and Reiki and the great results are visible in a happy, healthy animal.

All the therapies complement each other to give a holistic treatment. In the case of Reiki and TTouch, an animal does not need to be out of sorts. Using them gives support and balance to their well-being.
